We are back after the holiday break and resuming our Friday Movie night. This month we will take a little journey to New York, with titles that take inspiration from one of the greatest cities in the world. We start this week with "Inside Llewyn Davis", a luminous film by Joel and Ethan Coen. Bringing to life the burgeoning folk scene of Greenwich Village in the early 60's, the story immerses us deeply into the central character's dogged pursuit to live a creative life. As his struggles take him through the wintery city we encounter the earnest and cynical characters that populate this key point in culture. One of the best films of the past decade, this one gets better the more times you see it. Join us, won't you? Doors open at 6:15, with light dinner concession available, movie starts at 7pm. Suggested donation at the door of $5.
