As we are entering the wet and windy winter months, the Harbour Authority of Cortes Island would like to remind dock users to watch the weather and ensure their vessels are safely and securely tied to the docks. Please remember to check your vessel after heavy rainfall. The Squirrel Cove dock is highly exposed in northwesterly winds, and the Whaletown dock can be adversely affected by strong South-westerlies.
