Artsy Fartsy Films & Folk U present:

This Is Spinal Tap!

Doors at 6:30 - Film at 7:00pm
Friday November 29
Linnaea Ed Centre
$5 admission or by donation.

An hilarious 1982 "rockumentary" considered the gold standard of improv influenced music films. Directed by Rob Reiner in collaboration with Christopher Guest, Harry Shearer and more - it follows a British hair metal band, "Spinal Tap" on an American comeback tour - egos, backstage antics, groupies, mishaps, rehearsals and drummers galore. It's shot from the viewpoint of a filmmaking fan and reverberates with egotistical ridiculousness, tight pants and "deep" lyrics.

It's so good, that when Ozzy Osbourne first saw it, he thought it was a real documentary.

Rated : R (swearing, sexual talk and behaviour, drugs and rock and roll lifestyle)

Come rock out and turn it up to eleven with big hair, tight stretchy pants and hilarity. Costumes encouraged!

Hosted by Jenny Magenta - The Artsy Fartsy Film series will feature an art/dance/music film on the last Friday of each month. Interesting, interactive and fun!
