Interested in going a little deeper into thinking about literature, society, ancient times and what they teach us about today.?... try out this 200 level class with Rex Weyler.

The Ramayana: War, romance, betrayal, courage, and gossip in ancient India.

The Ramayana is one of the oldest stories in any human tradition, still told throughout the world. Why is this story so timeless and relevant today? The Ramayana describes the human journey through life, love, conflict, truth and lies, heaven and Earth, and our critical relationship with the natural world. The characters break our hearts, give us hope, and reveal our individual power and vulnerability.

Led by Rex Weyler. Classes held at 822 Austin Rd.

Thursdays from 1 to 2:30.  November 14 through December 12th.
