There is nobody that could make me laugh so quickly when picking up a phone as Stephen. I knew him for many months only as the kind, smart and funny voice on the other side of the phone when I called Robert. When meeting him in person, he did not disappoint. Such a smart, worldly man with great humour.
Love to you Robert and Melissa.

Stephen was a gifted writer and a kind spirit. I have always been in awe of his talent, and enjoyed his comic timing and delivery when he read aloud. His stories could be touching, too... goodbye, and blessings to a rare soul.

What a wonderful, witty and articulate writer we have lost, with Stephen going. I had no idea he was ill.
But I am sorry, and will remember him with great warmth.
I'm so sorry
