Dangerous "heroin" product in our area.

The CCHA has been advised that a bad batch of down is in circulation in Campbell River. This batch was tested at the safe injection site and contains:
· Heroin
· Fentanyl
· Meth
· Benzodiazepines
· Unidentified poison

Overdose patients treated by 108 crews in the past 24 hours have experienced seizure activity pre- and post- Naloxone administration, with some patients re-overdosing shortly after Naloxone administration.
