On Thursday October 17th the Harbour Authority of Cortes Island (HACI) held it’s 2019 AGM. One function of an AGM is to elect new Directors if need be. This year we had two Directors retiring. I like to thank Jon Knowles for his hard work and the insights he brought to the table and also in particular thank Delia Becker. Delia served for many years as a Director and also as President. We will miss her knowledge of the shell fish industry and her passion for the protection of the environment. And now I’d like to welcome the new Directors Bob Osleeb (shipwright and Director on CIFFA) and Jonas Fineman (co owner of the Misty Iles Adventures). Our ongoing Directors are: Amanda Glickman, Dave Nikleva, Bob Katzko - President, Alain Bellemare - Vice-President, Ray Grout -Treasurer, and Andy Ellingsen - Secretary.
