Federal Election
October 21, 2019.
Cortes Island voting.

All polls for Cortes Island will be at the Cortes Island school: 950 Beasley Road

Voting will take place from 7 AM to 7 PM. To vote you have to bring two pieces of ID to prove who you are and where you live.

To register and vote in federal election you must:
• be a Canadian citizen
• be at least 18 years old on election day
• prove your identity and address.

You can register to vote at the polling station.

take note:
- Taking selfies or making a recording in voting stations is not allowed. Also, taking a picture of a marked ballot and posting it on social media is a violation of the secret ballot rules in the Canada Elections Act and therefore illegal.
