Join us for the Celebration of Life for Charles Crossland at the Mansons Hall, November 2nd from 6-10pm.
We are very fortunate to know Charles. The Celebration of Life is an opportunity to gather and share cherished memories of our time with him.
We begin with a potluck at 6pm. Please bring a dish to share. A few of Charles' favourite foods to explore.
Celebrating our friend in story, poem, song and dance will follow. If you'd like to perform a favourite song that speaks to his life, please contact Mateo (tomlinsinogmail.com).
We are happy to say that Charles' parents Josée and Robert will be joining us for the evening. Lisa Day will have a very special scrapbook for them available for you to write or paste in thoughts, feelings, memories, poems and photos.
We will co-create a memorial outside the Co-op out of colourful painted beach rocks, personalized with symbols and messages for our beloved Charles. So we are asking you to pre-paint or decorate your rock and bring it with you to the event. We will parade them down from the Hall to the Co-op.
Jen Stevens has kindly offered her home (Potlatch Rd) and art supplies for rock painting sessions Sat/Sun October 26/27 from 2-4pm. If you have paint supplies please bring them along. (jenniferglorystevensgmail.com)
The music will get your feet moving, as the evening flows into dance. Watch, listen, move as you remember Charles.
Willing to host travellers for the night, please contact Edward (edwardcolleyshaw.ca).
We hope you will join us in celebrating Charles' life and how you have been touched by his presence.
