Forest Stewardship Plan

Notice is hereby given that Cortes Forestry General Partnership (CFGP) will make available for review and comment a replacement to their existing Forest Stewardship Plan (FSP) covering Community Forest Agreement K4G. The FSP covers Crown Land areas on Cortes Island, within the Sunshine Coast Natural Resource District.

We only have 2 months to submit our recommendations. And the plans to start logging as early as Jan. 1, '20. I've submitted that I want tree cutting limited to no trees being cut that are greater than 3 feet in diameter at chest height from now on. I would like them/Forest Manager, by saying so here on Tideline, please. Thank you for posting, Ione!
