With a bit quieter September, it is now time for reflection but still time to enjoy the summer!

We have three lunches:
• Wednesday, September 4 – luncheon at Diana & Ed Safariks', 553 Potlatch Road, noon
• Wednesday, September 18 – lunch at Hollyhock, 11:15 Garden Tour, 12:30 Lunch
• Tuesday, September 24 – luncheon at Cathy Winter's, 477 Sutil Point Rd, noon

Contact Carina, our Seniors Helping Seniors coordinator, for more information or to register for the lunches. Carina may be contacted Monday to Friday, at 250-935-6793. Unless it is urgent or time-sensitive, please call Carina between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

New king-size mattress

Join the Cortes Museum in the Heritage Garden as an internationally acclaimed blues musician, Michael Keith, will help you close out the summer season in style. the evening starts at 6 p.m. Dress in blue and enjoy blueberry treats. Then enter the raffle to win the beautiful Canada Botanica quilt made by our member, Diane Elliott. The draw takes place at this event!

The weekend of August 30, August 31 and September 1 – is your last chance to see a wonderful show in the Old School House Gallery. You will not be disappointed.

Join us for walks on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, starting at 9 a.m. from Manson's Hall parking lot, followed by coffee or tea at the co-op café.
