Emmanuel got started with leatherwork through punk rock, and began hammering metal after buying a forge on whim. He is a merchant mariner from Newfoundland and spent 7 years going around the world. Many of his rope and iron creations are made with boat life in mind.

Fate brought him to Cortes, where he continues working with materials that will beat the test of time.
