Jodi Peters
May programming with the Forest Trust for the Children of Cortes Island!

After a wondrous Bio Blitz weekend, we return to our Saturday afternoons at Linnaea Farm:

Saturday, May 11th
‘Forest Homes’ 1 – 3pm – Meet outside the Linnaea Education Centre main doors.

Join Jodi to take a close look at how forest critters make their homes in the forest. We’ll search for signs of Heron nests, and carefully observe signs of where other creatures make their home in the forest around Linnaea. Then we’ll use our imaginations and crafty fingers to create some tiny critter homes with a few deluxe additions!
All ages welcome, kids under 8 please come with an adult caregiver.

Saturday, May 25th
‘The Wet Edge’ 1 – 3pm – Meet outside the Linnaea Education Centre main doors.

Join Jodi on an exploration of the forest edge where it meets the lake and we find – a wetland! The edge is a busy, busy place, so come ready to spy on fish, dragonflies, birds of all sorts, and plants that love to have wet feet! We’ll create some interesting and expressive art with natural materials to show just how marvelous the edge can be!
