A big thank you to everyone who came out for community silviculture on the weekend. We tended to approximately 1,000 of the first seedlings planted in the Cortes Community Forest.

Special thanks to local silviculture professionals Tony Clark, Whitney Vanderleest, and Nick Gagnon for coming out to share their experience.

Also a reminder that the CFGP is hosting a public meeting to review the Community Forest Operating Plan (CFOP) on Monday April 29 at 6:30 pm at the Klahoose Multi-purpose building.

The revised CFOP document is available for download on the CFGP website at www.cortesforestrypartnership.com
