BioBlitz! 2019 registration forms are now available for pickup at the Coop, Cortes School office and Gorge Harbour store.
Adults and families joining the Community Campout, Friday May 3 – Sunday May 5, are asked to register as early as possible with the final deadline for registration, Thursday April 25. Note that registration is mandatory and there is no charge for registration.

Please register as early as possible to facilitate food purchase and meal planning; thanks!
Once you have completed the registration forms, please return them to the BioBlitz! envelopes at the Coop, Cortes School office and Gorge Harbour store along with your payment for meals, if you have chosen a meal option.

This year our amazing community camp team is offering full meal packages! Imagine… you just walk in, set up your tent, pull out your plate at mealtime and settle in around the campfire!!!
This really supports the participation of families with younger children and to that end, we have also added a whole new slate of educational programming that will operate in the immediate vicinity of the campsite. Programming especially designed for the… ”short-legged, two-leggeds!”

Join us for BioBlitz! 2019 and be a member of a… “long-legged, two-leggeds” field team that records the species and ecological communities observed in the Children’s Forest. Our growing inventory reinforces the ecological significance of these forest lands and brings us ever closer to purchase.
IMAGINE… a forest in trust to the children!

BioBlitz! 2019 is sponsored by the Forest Trust for the Children of Cortes Island Society (FTCCIS). Check us out at
