General News · 30th November 2018
Please note, last minute update! There is no Isle Sing in December. Sorry for fake calendar news.

Were you considering joining Cortes Island Seniors Society?

We accept anyone who is 50 or over. We'd love to get more members aged 50 to 65. So, join us, even if you do not feel “senior.” We have activities for many ages and abilities. You can also help us organize them.

Our board members at present are Sue Ellingsen (President), Brad Betz (Treasurer), Peter Elliott (Secretary), Elinore Harwood (contact person for Seniors Helping Seniors), Judy Malek, Elizabeth Anderson (liaison to Housing Committee), Carolyn Howson, Jennifer Stephens, and Wilson Baker.

Carina Verhoeve (250-935-6792) is our Seniors Helping Seniors co-ordinator.

Please talk to any of us if you need more information.

Our highlights for December:
– Christmas Dinner, Saturday, December 15, at 6 pm in Mansons Hall, signup form attached
– Three seniors’ lunches: Wednesday, December 5; Thursday, December 13; Wednesday, December 19 (contact Carina if you would like to come)
– Memoir Writing, Thursday, December 13, 1:45 pm, at Elizabeth’s (contact Carina if you would like to come)
