And now for the appeal...
Fireworks are expensive, and really our only direct expense for this yearly event. This year, we raised $110 in our donation jars. The fireworks cost just over $500, half paid by the WCC and half paid by the Gorge Harbor Marina. If you enjoy the ongoing Halloween fireworks in Whaletown and have the means to donate towards future events, please kindly make a donation to the WCC with "Halloween Fireworks" marked on it. Any donations made towards this event will be used exclusively on fireworks. Thank you Cortes!
Donation cheques can be made out to Whaletown Community Club and mailed to box 54, Whaletown,BC,V0P1Z0 or by e-transfer to treasurer.whaletowngmail.com
