Nestled in a cedar and fir forest between the popular Gunflint and Hague Lakes is Cortes Island’s only motel. We are a family-style, community-loving, inclusive accommodation destination. We offer ten comfy casual & spacious rooms with full kitchens and/or kitchen amenities, full bathrooms, free wifi & satellite TV. Our communal spaces include outdoor seating, picnic tables, BBQs, swings, green space to play or enjoy the sun, and an outdoor campfire/cooking fire pit when weather permits (bring your guitar…).

Every year, we welcome a varied international and culturally diverse mix of clientele. We encourage all ages (kids under 16 with a parent stay free); we have several rooms for varying mobility (please contact us if you require further assistance or information), and rooms for your four-legged friends to ensure your island visit is comfortable, enjoyable and memorable.

The Cortes Island Motel is well located for shopping amenities, hiking trails, and offers easy lake and ocean access. We are directly across the road from K’was Park, one of British Columbia’s most highly rated nature trails. We are also a short walk or drive to Hague and Gunflint Lakes, and Manson’s Landing.
