Join us for a weekend of Buddhist reflections and meditation with Venerable Ajahn Viradhammo.
Ajahn Viradhammo is a senior Theravada Buddhist monk and the Abbot of Tisarana Buddhist Monastery in Perth, Ontario (tisarana.ca). He was one of the early western disciples of the famous Thai Forest meditation master, Ajahn Chah, and has been practicing and sharing the Buddha's teachings throughout the world for over 40 years. His teachings are down to earth and widely accessible.
In the spirit of Theravada Buddhism, these events are offered free of charge. Donations are welcome.
FRIDAY, JUNE 15:
EVENING DHAMMA TALK AND Q&A
-Time: 7:00 - 9:00pm
-Location: Gorge Hall
-No Registration Required
*Please bring a meditation mat/cushion if you wish to sit on the floor. Chairs will also be provided.
SATURDAY, JUNE 16:
DAYLONG SILENT MEDITATION RETREAT
(*REGISTRATION REQUIRED BY June 10th*)

-Suggested Donation: $25+
-The day retreat will be held in Noble Silence and will include guided sitting and walking meditations, Dhamma teachings, Q&A, and a communal meal offering to the monk.
-*Please bring your own meditation mat and cushion (chairs/backjacks will be available)
-*Please bring a contribution to the potluck meal offering, as well as your own plate/cutlery/mug/water bottle.
-No prior experience required. All are welcome. Please register early as space is limited.
