I have similar beautiful memories than Lovena, watching Matti and Vi, every Summer, practicing for the Senior's Olympics at those grounds.
They always enjoy it so much. And if I remember correctly, each year they got some medals !
What a wonderful, inspiring, couple they were, indeed!
My deepest condolences to their families.

I will remember fondly seeing Matti and Vi on the lawn of the Old Schoolhouse Gallery practicing their javelin. Being competitors in the Seniors Olympics was no small feat. They will be missed on Cortes Island.

What an inspiring couple, living so fully together. I will remember their lively good nature, and their courage. Glad to have known them both.
