After the storms, we could expect a pile of debris at the west end of the harbour... many thanks to the stealthy group of people who went out and cleaned things up! The message was relayed to me by Hubert as he lazily sailed by on the Osprey. My understanding is that the initiative was sparked by Erik Lyon and that Island SeaFarms' raft was involved.
Thank you all who were involved!!

Please, let’s not imply that the mess is entirely cleaned up. There are years of rehabilitation required to reclaim a healthy west Gorge. It is, by definition, a chemical spill site.
And, yes, thanks where thanks are due. As west Gorge residents we are often overwhelmed with the task at hand, including today, to stem the accumulation of toxic waste.
The main source of the pollutants is obvious. Proaction vs. patting ourselves on the back is prudent here.
