Hey Cortes Islanders, Linnaea Farm offers a Permaculture Design Course September 24th – October 8th (http://linnaeafarm.org/permaculture-design-2/)

Here's how you'll really benefit from taking this course. First off, it’s a great deal for islanders. Cost includes tuition AND three gorgeous, Linnaea Farm meals each day. It doesn’t include accomodations, but since you live here, you’ve got that covered!

Rick Valley is coming up from Oregon as head instructor—he taught the first permaculture design course at Linnaea Farm in the 1980’s, which also happened to be the first course EVER taught in Canada. He's the go-to guy for experience in designing and implementing permaculture projects all through the Pacific Northwest. So, whatever projects you’ve got on your plate—landscaping, home renovation, social landscapes, big dreams or little ones, this course makes your dreams reality. It'll give you tools, principles and examples needed to assess any landscape of human habitation and immediately start transforming it into an efficient, sustainable, joyful and beautiful system you can be proud of.

We leave specific time in the evenings for informal group gatherings to workshop each other’s projects, home sites, etc. This is invaluable as a catalyst to help you overcome obstacles that are preventing you from profitably stewarding your land, home or situation you find yourself responsible for. Spots are filling up, so if you want to see the myriad ways in which permaculture will transform you, register now! (or email me if you have questions or want to know more).
Cost: $1400 (includes meals)

Sincerely, Jodi Peters (co-instructor)
