Our experience with the fire early last Sunday morning has important messages for us all. Yes we lost an out building and a bunch of stuff, but the quick and truly heroic actions of our neighbours Rob, Barb, Bruce and Ayami saved our home and a nightmare scenario for our fire fighters. Knowing and having good neighbours can make all the difference in a small community. We and all our critters are fine and under excellent care of our insurer despite their Fort Mac case load. Warning to all fellow handy persons; Focusing on what I had created and not on what I was disposing, we nearly lost everything. Deb and I are truly touched by the community's concern and offers of help. Right now its pretty raw on our minds and we just need some privacy and time to recover. As we need help we will reach out. Thanks and please be diligent around your places. One laps can be terrifying
