Jobs & For Hire: CO-OP Seeks Full-Charge Bookkeeper
The Cortes Natural Food Coop is looking for a permanent, full-charge bookkeeper.
This bookkeeper will work a basic 1 - 3 days/week, varying by season. Appropriate experience is essential.
Additional periodic effort required for year-end processing, HST remittance re-statements and revising last year's end-of-year statements.
Pay rates will vary between $20-$25/hr depending upon experience and qualifications.
The suitable applicant must have a detailed understanding of double-entry bookkeeping. In addition to entering all current financial transactions on a weekly basis, responsibilities will include running payroll, weekly reconciliation of accounting records with bank statements, and producing detailed financial statements weekly and monthly.
References and prior experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper essential.
