Many people have been missing out on the BC Ferries Notices when ferries were cancelled in the last few weeks. We (FAC members) asked BC Ferries to look into it and this morning they let us know that the IT department was able to trace down the problem.
"We found out that there was recently a problem sending emails to GMAIL accounts since we went to a new server. Our server team has identified mis-configurations on the server portal and they believe it has been fixed."
They will do more testing and make sure all service notices and news notifications shall arrive in customers mailboxes in the future.
