A big, beautiful, and Thornless bouquet of Roses to Mae Sherwood. Mae has been volunteering for the WCC for nearly 20 years now! The WCC is so grateful that she is continuing on to organize the classical concerts, food events, and to be a mentor to the new board. Thank you Mae! And thank you to all volunteers and members. Past, present, and future! There is so much love, history, and care involved with the Whaletown Community Hall, and its been each of you who have added to its depth.
Whoever sent Mae a sharp thorn should be very ashamed! When the election was finished, she stood up to thank the new board of volunteers, saying that old CROCS like her (NOT TWATS!) appreciated some fresh energy in the club. It was lighthearted, funny, and dosed with genuine gratitude. Thank you, Mae.
Sincerely, Ashe Biela
