Peter Schwarzhoff, the new Federal Liberal Candidate for our revised riding, visited the Cortes Co-op Café today for a meet and greet session.
The session began with members of the walking group but by 11:00 a.m. had expanded to 20 or more people from the island who came to ask questions and express their points of view on various issues.
No-one has yet been announced as Federal NDP or Conservative Candidates, but it is our hope that once they have been named they too will visit Cortes.
