Wow, there are quite a few Canadians from BC here in La Manzanilla, some from our own past. It sometimes feels like a bardo world -reminding me of the series “Lost” at times.

We are enjoying our days and have settled in to a leisurely pace. Swimming several times a day in the WARM waters with the Pelicans and Terns diving about us, shopping in the corner market for ripe fruits and veggies of which the avocados are to die for, napping in the heat of the day and strolling about for a new place to eat in the evening. The sun and temperature is steady at 71F in the evening to 85F in the day.

We are off to the Friday Market perhaps to purchase another colorful bowl or coffee cup. At 5 PM this afternoon the four of us will get in the boats and be shepherded around the Mangrove for a guided talk about the various fauna. Sunday we’ll peruse the various domiciles in a sponsored open Art Walk. What could be better?
