Tuesdays: SPORTS (Ages 9-13)
Atomic Volleyball: Every Tuesday October 7th - December 9th
Pre-registration required. Registration forms available from Miranda, the Health centre, or the CCHA website, or downloaded from tideline.
Join Coaches Robby and Miranda for 10 session of skill building and fun atomic volleyball!
Location: Cortes island school, 2:45-5:15, see registration form for details
(Please note! Youth volleyball is for ages 9-13, not 12, as stated on registration forms.)

Thursdays: ADVENTURES IN LEADERSHIP (Ages 10-12)
Par-kours: October 2nd, 9th, 16th
Think of gymnastics and freestyle running in an outdoor environment. Lifeguard Gabe will teach us how to move safely and efficiently through some super fun moves and radical progressions. Loose, comfortable clothing recommended. Location: Cortes Island School; Time: 2:45-4:30pm

Mysterious Mushroom Hunt: October 23rd
Join Miranda and Mira for a fun mushroom hike. If you have a field guide, bring it so you can identify the mushrooms you find! Bring a basket or a bag for your collections. Location: Whale Town Commons. *Miranda will meet all youth at the entrance to the Whale town commons on Whale Town Rd. Youth coming from the school get on the bus, and get off at the Whale Town Commons. Time: 3:30-5:15pm. Pick up at entrance to Commons on Whale Town Rd.

Halloween Salmon Stream Adventure: October 30th
Join Delia and Miranda for an afternoon of salmon good times. Animal costumes encouraged for this Halloween-eve adventure! Location: Squirrel Cove
* Miranda will meet all youth at the Squirrel Cove Store. Youth from the school, get on the bus and get off at the Squirrel Cove Store. Time: 3:15pm-5:00pm. Pick up at 5:00 at Squirrel Cove Store

Special events: Bike Event: Saturday October 18th:** For all Cortes Island Youth 7-13
10:00 am – 1:00pm-ish Whale Town Commons Ride (Beginner) OR Carrington Ride (Intermediate). Two different trail rides to challenge at your own skill level!
Meet at: The Gorge Hall (with your bike, helmet, weather gear, lunch and water bottle). Cost: Free! Snacks will be provided.
