LOTSA WATERFALLS but only one queen bed left for a couple on the Cortes Museum's overnight cruise to Toba Inlet Saturday & Sunday, July 5/6. And there's some camping option spots as well! The schooner Misty Isles leaves Cortes Bay 10 a.m. July 5 & returns 4:30 p.m. July 6.
Cruise thru Desolation Sound to the pristine glacier-fed Toba Inlet where the schooner can 'shower' under waterfalls & you can keep a lookout for mountain goats on rock bluffs, bears along the shore, First Nation pictographs, eagles hunting salmon & a myriad of sea birds as well as orcas & dolphins. Toba Inlet is an amazing place!
Enjoy your overnight stay at rustic Wildernest Lodge with skipper Mike Moore's BBQ salmon dinner. Relax in a beachside hot tub & hike to a nearby waterfall, the power source for the lodge.
Cost per person is $360 (tax incl.) for the cabins. There's also a camping option at $325 with your own equipment. For more details or to register, contact Lynne at Cortes Museum: cimastwincomm.ca or 250-935-6340.
