Cortes Island School PAC-Fiona
A huge bouquet of cedar bark roses for the Klahoose Band. Thank you so much for welcoming the Cortes Island School children and community on National Aboriginal Day to share in your traditional crafts and foods. The Klahoose elders, youth and other community members shared traditional craft making, drumming, singing and story telling with the children. A delicious meal was shared by all. A wonderful opportunity for the Klahoose children to share their home and community with all the children from the Cortes Island School. Thank you for a wonderful day.
