Adventures in Leadership is for all Cortes Island Youth ages 10-12

Thursday May 1st: Salmon stream exploration with Salmon specialist Delia
Drop off: Youth coming from school get on the school bus at 2:45pm and get dropped off at Larson’s meadow Rd. Miranda will meet ALL youth there at approximately 3:20pm.
Pick up: Larson’s meadow road 4:45pm

Thursday May 8th: Orienteering skill building games
Cortes Island School 2:45-4:30pm
Please bring a compass if you have one

Thursday May 15th: Wilderness Skills (1) with special guest instructor Max
Cortes Island School 2:45-4:30pm

Thursday May 22nd: Wilderness Skills (2) with special guest instructor Max
Cortes Island School 2:45-4:30pm

Thursday May 29th: Swimming skills and free play
Gorge Harbour Pool
DROP off: Youth coming from school will get on the school bus at 2:45 and get dropped off at the Whaletown Road/Robertson Road junction. (Approx. 3:25pm) Miranda will meet all youth at this junction and walk the group down to the pool.
Pick up: Gorge Harbour pool at 4:45pm.
Please Bring: Bathing suit, towel, goggles and be ready for swimming safety and basics as well as games and free play.

We are still looking for a lifeguard, if you can lifeguard, please contact Miranda.

Special programs:
Every Tuesday (April 29th to June 24th): Soccer! (ages 7-16, split into groups). Coaches Jonah & Jeramie. Cortes Island School, 2:45pm-4:30pm, Bring your water bottles, and cleats if you have them!
