The Siskin Lane Strata Council would like to provide an update to the community regarding works that we will be undertaking in the coming weeks.
In recent years, there has been a growing problem regarding nuisance vehicles running through/across the location known as “Jack’s Pond”. Trucks have been running through this area at all times of the day, but there has been a predominance of activity in the evenings. Besides creating an undesirable noisy situation and a considerable amount of dust for all the residents in that area, the Siskin Lane Strata Council has safety concerns. As this property is part of the Siskin Lane Strata, our Council will be taking action to restrict vehicle access to this area. The Strata Council has made arrangements to have large rocks placed along side of Sutil Point Road. This material will be set back from the highway so as not to infringe on the road right of way, while at the same time providing for vehicle parking alongside the road. These actions will not prevent public access, via foot, to this property.
