This is a by donation (suggested $3+) weekly event. Donations help lower the tuition cost for next enrollment year (Sep 2014).
When: Every Monday night. Starts Monday Feb 3rd
Where: Lakehouse Learning Center, the newly renovated old library room in Mansons Hall. Separate entrance from parking lot.
Lakehouse is an enthusiasm-based democratic learning center that offers students of all ages an opportunity to engage and explore. The heart of the Lakehouse program is to empower the children to develop their own sense of what is important to them, to determine what drives them, and to complete tasks they set out to do. Staff and volunteers at Lakehouse facilitate and support each student’s enthusiasm-based learning. Lakehouse began at Linnaea in 2011 and moved to Manson’s Hall at the beginning of September 2013, into the newly renovated room upstairs.
