Just a reminder that we've got Paloma Vita teaching the Computer Smarts workshop: Search Google like a pro, & keep your computer happy!

Paloma worked as a Google Quality Rater for two years, helping to determine how searches show up for you. Now she would like to share with you how to search well online, and while she’s at it, she’ll also cover how to keep your computer secure and running well.

Bring a laptop if you have one! Both PC and Mac help will be available.

If you only want to come to the search part, come for the first half of the workshop. Search discussion will be covered progressing from very basics, to more intermediate and advance search tips, so don't feel shy showing up a bit late if you know the basics.

If you only want to come to the anti-virus and computer upkeep part, which will lean more toward PCs, stick around or show up for the second half.

When: Saturday, October 26, 2013
Where: Manson’s Hall, Pioneer Room
Time: 1 - 3 pm
Cost: Sliding scale $15 - 25 donation benefits the WiFi Society
RSVP: Call Susanna at (250) 935-0347, email, or just show up!
