This 2 day workshop presented by Cari Taylor of the Arthritis Society of B.C., is recommended for those suffering from arthritis as well as their family and friends. The workshop is on October 28 and 29, at Mansons Hall. The workshop is free, but we will ask for donations to cover Cari's travel and materials expenses from Victoria.
Monday, Oct. 28, 10:30 a.m.-12:00 noon: "Understanding Arthritis"
12:00- 1:00- Lunch. You may sign up for one or two lunches catered by the Coop Bakery, or bring your own.
1:00- 2:30 p.m.- "Chronic Pain Management"
Tuesday, Oct. 29, 10:30 a.m.- 12:00 noon- "Stress and Arthritis"
12:00- 1:00- Lunch
1:00- 2:30 p.m.- "Exercise Control"
Cari will give everyone a clear understanding of the disease in its various forms, as well as show many of the available tools to make life more manageable. This information is the basis for the next 3 topics.
