Passing along a message from Judy received last night. "Bobo is recovering slowly from the replacement of two heart valves and a nasty blood infection. He was very ill before the op, is still thin and recovery is slow going. He had the wire and staples removed from his chest zipper today and slept better Friday night. He gets up for meals and for small walks with tiny physio ladies who look terrified he will fall on them. The hospital is very crowded and noisy and there are many procedures, checks, tests and doctor visits all thru the day and night.
He will soon be more mobile I think. Things should improve after Monday but do not expect Mr. B home too soon. He has a number of weeks of antibiotic drip to go thru.
Bobo gets informed of all your good wishes and appreciates it all".
