Do you enjoy using the trails on Linnaea farm?
Would you enjoy them even more if the salmonberries weren't stealing your hat and the salal scratching your shins?
Join me on Sunday Aug. 4 any time between 9AM and noon for some trail clearing fun.
For this first workbee, we'll tackle the main trail that runs from Linnaea to Cortes Bay. We'll be clearing salmonberry, salal, bracken, and pruning back branches that line the trail with the goal of returning the trail to it's original width that allows two to comfortably stroll side by side. The wider trail will reduce the wear and erosion of the single track.
Bring: sturdy shoes, gloves, hand pruners, pruning saw, or other favorite implement for brush clearing
Light refreshment provided.
