Cortes Museum & Archives
On Tuesday, July 23rd, MISTY ISLES explores the reef structure between Hernando & Savary Islands. Participants will see a phenomenal variety of marine life, including: sponges, corals, sea anemones, hydroids, worms, chitons, bivalves, snails, shrimp, crabs, sea stars, sea urchins, bryozoans & more! Participants need to be surefooted and wear rubber boots.
MISTY ISLES departs Cortes Bay 10:30am, & returns by 5:00pm. The fee for this investigative exploration is $120 per person, including tax.
Other Cortes Museum-sponsored trips this summer include: a cruise into Desolation Sound (offered on two dates: July 27th and August 24th); a trip around Maurelle Island (August 9th); and a cruise to Cassel Lake waterfall in Teakerne Arm (August 14th).
