Come sail with us on interpreted cruises.
From May to September, the Cortes Museum offers exciting cruises to Desolation Sound, Mitlenatch Island, Toba Inlet, & more aboard the charter vessel MISTY ISLES, owned by Cortes residents Samantha & Mike Moore. New this summer - visit Twin Islands !!
Explore these private islands and walk in the footsteps of Royalty this summer on cruises aboard the schooner Misty Isles.
Twin Islands off the southeast shore of Cortes is where the Queen and Prince Philip have enjoyed relaxing holidays away from public eyes during visits to Canada. These small islands were once owned by relatives of Prince Philip.
Completely self sustaining, there are amazing gardens, a barn, outbuildings, a swimming compound and an impressive log lodge to tour while you relax, enjoy, and spend a night walking down the same hallway as Royalty once did.
>> Your private visit to Twin Islands begins with a cruise to either:
Mitlenatch Island (June 11-12) or
Cassel Lake in Teakerne Arm (August 24-25).
For those more adventurous, we offer:
3-day Kayaking trip (July 14-15-16)
to explore around Twin Islands and surrounding islands, staying 2 nights at the lodge.
All meals are included on these exciting new trips.
