Cortes Museum & Archives
So, what's a "cetacean"? The answer is whales, dolphins, and porpoises!
Just a reminder that the Cortes Museum is sponsoring a multimedia presentation by the Vancouver Aquarium on cetaceans and sea turtles that inhabit BC waters. Discover which species are most commonly spotted around the Discovery Islands, their unique natural histories, the threats that they face, and how you can participate in stewardship and research through the BC Cetacean Sightings Network.
Please join us at Manson's Hall on Saturday, June 22nd, 7:30pm. Admission is by donation. We hope to see you there!
