Updated annually since 2007, contains information about Cortes—dates of events, useful bits of information, bytes of Cortes history, ads from local businesses: restaurants, arts, healing, activities, transportation, vacation homes, and more.
Each year, the book features in introduction by a resident author, and focuses on a specific topic. This year edition, 2018, is focused on Mansons Lagoon, sand dollars, and has an introduction written by Monica Nawrocki.
Printed books are on display in participating vacation homes, Cortes cafes and restaurants, info centres on Cortes, Campbell River and Quadra.
Books are for sale in a few locations on Cortes—General Store in Squirrel Cove, Cortes Museum/Info Booth, Cortes Market and Hollyhock in Mansons, or directly from Gina 250-935-0080.
