The Old Schoolhouse Gallery opened a special group show Friday, September 1, 2006. Salmon Today, curated and presented by Volker Steigemann hosted a variety of works by Cortes painters. printmakers, sculptors, and fabric artists.

Music performances about salmon were given by Kenny Hanuse, Denise Reinhold Wolda, Volker Steigemann, and Rick Bockner.

Salmon was barbecued for all and cakes and goodies were provided by the artists and family. A very entertaining night!

Show continues Saturday and Sunday this week and Friday, Saturday and Sunday September 8, 9, 10 from 6 to 9 each evening.
