The Library closure seems to be dependent on the definition of a "mezzanine" Is this the accurate description of the library space that the engineers used 2 years ago or was VIRL suddenly informed last week when coincidentally a hazard warning to "mezzanines" was released?
The threat of danger to pre-school children certainly closes off options for negociations to keep the space open. If, in fact, there is a real serious possibility of the floor collapsing suddenly then I will HELP move the books, (but how - if my added weight will help it fall through). We need the information... who has it?
