During the month of June, Coastal Community Credit Union will be mailing out new Chip cards to our members to replace their existing debit cards. This directive was mandated by INTERAC, stating that ALL Financial Institutions move their debit cards to the new CHIP technology by the end of 2012. CHIP technology reflects the industries efforts to prevent fraud, and secure Canadian electronic payments. All existing CCCU debit cards will be automatically deactivated in the fall. All Cortes / Quadra members will be mailed new CHIP cards, and then about one week later, they will receive a new PIN number also in the mail. You can now change your PIN number automatically at any CCCU ATM, at ANYTIME. If you have any questions, please come into the branch and speak to one of our staff. Thank you.
