Ancient Kodachromes from a kaleidoscopic era have been unearthed.
Places you never knew existed on Cortes. People with dust all over them... some no longer with us, some almost unrecognizably alive still.
The rarest of Cortes plants, birds and other creatures unveiled.
The judge said: "Thirty years on Cortes, or the electric chair!"
George took the thirty.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Cortes Island Museum & Archives Society AGM at 1pm on Sunday, March 25. Following the business portion of the meeting, former Cortes regional director and naturalist George Sirk will show some great slides and reveal some long held secrets about his time on the island.
