The Cortes Skills Centre is offering classes on October 22nd/23rd and 29th/30th with instructor Elinor Bazar. Two classes will be dedicated to word processing and two classes for using spreadsheets with both Microsoft and Open Office. Skills covered will include, but aren’t limited to: formatting (fonts, paragraph, page, document); making posters; writing business letters; creating invoices; building spreadsheets using formulas and formatting; saving files; the differences and similarities between MS and OO. These courses will prepare you for further learning in small business management (November’s Skills Centre classes) or just for personal use.

Classes will run from 10 - 3pm with a lunch break (BYOL). $20/class. Please post rides wanted or offered on cortesisland.com RideShare.
