Sorry to have to report this but radiation
levels of Iodine131 are really to high
for safe water supply if you are using rainwater systems.
SFU lab has shown on April 25
levels of 300 PiC per liter of rainwater.
Standard for drinking water should be less
than 3 PiC/liter or 100 times too high.
So people with direct rainwater should find alternate supplies such as deep drilled wells.
Surface water wells may eventually become
unsafe??Depends on many factors.
Bottled water would be o.k. depending
on its source.Storing water for 80 days
will reduce Iodine 131 by 1000 times.
Boil it after storage due to bacteria contamination.
