Parenting is very rewarding and enjoyable. It is also often challenging, frustrating, and exhausting. Parents have the improtant role of raising the next generation, yet most people begin parenting not prepared for what lies ahead. There is no "right" way to raise healthy, well adjusted children.

It is up to you as a parent to decide which values, skills, and behaviours you want to encourage in your child and to develop your own approach to dealing with your child's behaviour.

Triple P Programs are helpful for many parents and aim to make parenting easier and more enjoyable. VIHA Public Health Nursing and Campbell River Family Services will be offering a 5 session Triple P Group, Mondays, February 7 to March 7, 2011 from 11am to 1pm at Manson's Hall. Child care will be provided on site.

For more information or to register please contact Laurie at CR Family Services 250-287-2421. You can also leave your contact information with Mary Lavalle at Manson's Hall (250-935-0015) to be contacted by a group facilitator.
