CCHA Board
The Board and staff of the Cortes Health Centre are pleased to announce that Dr. Phil Foster will be returning to Cortes Island to provide general medical services to Islanders at the reorganized clinic. Some may remember that Phil practiced here for 5 years in the first clinic established by the Cortes Community Health Association (CCHA) at Manson’s Hall during the 1990's. We welcome his skills and his family back to Cortes. His starting date is Dec 1st, 2010. Until then, the clinic will be open for business as usual staffed by locum doctors, some of whom have worked here before.

Dr. Mary Jo Woolgar, who has made her home here for several years, will relieve Dr. Foster when he is away on holidays or meeting continuing medical education requirements.

It is the intent of the CCHA Board that in leasing the clinic to Dr. Foster, we will meet the need for sustainable, stable and quality medical care on this beautiful island. We all look forward to working with Dr. Foster and the community at large to accomplish this goal.
